Recently, I decided to open up my old travel trunk and pull out all my old photo albums and memory books. The purpose was to condense 28 photo albums into a mere 4 or 5. I thought it would be a quick and easy process, as I simply filtered through each album, trashing unwanted photos of people I no longer knew, sunsets, scenery, blurry selfies, zoo animals, and whatever else I deemed 'unwanted' and 'unnecessary.'
The quick and easy process proved to be not quick... nor easy.
Following the path down memory lane has certainly reminded me how much I miss traveling... but it has also given me the opportunity to relive some of my crazy adventures.
For the past week, amid the chaotic mess that has taken over my living space, I find myself with a permanent smile on my face. As I flip through piles of archaic, stuck-together old photo albums, I am revisiting many moments I had almost pretty much let slip from my memory.
I have decided that considering travel has been put on the back burner for the time being... and the foreseeable future... I will live vicariously through my epic adventures and journeys of days gone by.
As I relive my past adventures, I hope to rediscover (both) the good times and bad times I had, rekindle old friendships, and use this knowledge to plan future journeys!
First stop... Australia 1994/5 ENJOY!
